How to keep your TPMS data always up to date

Testing and programming devices for tire pressure monitoring systems must always be state-of-the-art. We’ll take care of the updates for you!

They’ve been mandatory since 2014 – tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS). Every newly registered vehicle must be equipped with them – and with every new vehicle, new protocols for TPM sensors are introduced to the market. Your TPMS service equipment must of course always be up-to-date, so that it covers all possible market conditions and keeps you competitive. Does this sound a little confusing? If it does, don’t worry – because we’ll provide you with regular software updates for your service tools – and all you have to do is download them to your devices, so you can continue working without any problems and you won’t lose any time! There are solutions that make this possible – and here they are for you:

VDO TPMS Pro: the all-rounder that keeps you up-to-date

The VDO TPMS Pro service device is the ideal workshop assistant: It checks and programs universal TPMS sensors, reads out error codes and searches for spare part numbers – and our VDO TPMS Update Plus update license makes sure that you can download the latest software – so your device will always have access to the latest data.

VDO TPMS Update Plus: How does this software update process work?

Your VDO TPMS service devices receive monthly database updates via VDO TPMS Update Plus. This means that they always have the latest protocols and information on vehicle models and sensor protocols – so all sensors can be read out worldwide. You can be 100% sure that your workshop will always comply with the EU TPMS legal obligations.

Digitalization made easy!

You also save a lot of your valuable time: A PC management software is available for the product – and it synchronizes all the data wirelessly via WLAN. Reports are created with just a few clicks and all the data from vehicle and TPMS sensor maintenance can be processed directly for later downstream procedures. This saves you a lot of typing! And the best thing about it? You can simply start the WLAN update in the evening before you shut up shop – and the next morning everything will be ready for you!
