ATE products get a new look. Learn here what’s going to change – and what won’t.
Some of you have probably noticed it already – there’s something happening with the ATE packaging. In spring 2020, with the launch of the new SUPER DOT 5.1 brake fluid, the design of the cans was also given a spring-clean – and that was the start of a major project aimed at optimizing and standardizing ATE packaging.
The changeover is meanwhile in full swing and not only the brake fluid packaging has been changed, but a large proportion of the brake caliper packaging has also been revamped – and now the time has come for the next product groups to receive their new-look designs.
From the 1st quarter of 2021, the first brake disks will already be on the market in new packaging – and brake pads are expected to follow in mid-2021. However, the changeover will be gradual. This means that both old and new packaging will be on the market for a time. But don’t worry! The quality of the products will of course remain the same!
So what exactly will be changing? All the new packaging follows a standardized concept. The configuration is always the same, resulting in a uniform brand image. Product categories can be distinguished from one other even more easily – and innovative product highlights, such as our ATE Ceramic brake pads and the ATE PowerDisc, will be given a particularly prominent appearance with a product image on the packaging.
But optics is one thing, the package itself is another. Here, too, we have made improvements and have now defined a uniform standard within the categories. In the case of brake discs, for example, not only the printing process but also the gram weight of the packaging has been adjusted. For even more safety From mid-2021, all disc packaging will also be uniformly converted to top-hat boxes. For even more convenience.
Other product categories, such as drum brake shoes, our kits and accessories will follow in stages.
As you can see, it remains exciting. And blue!
