HGV In-ground brake tester:

This brake tester is built to withstand a high daily throughput of fully laden light and heavy vehicles with axle load’s up to 20,000 kg.

Large chain wheels with 33% stress reduction and annual chain tightening compared to quarterly
Heavy duty bearings and strong roller axles to improve reliability and lifetime
Large speed roller for optimal contact and improved test results

HGV Mobile Brake Tester

This brake tester is designed for on-ground installation without the need of civil work’s, to test light and heavy vehicles with axle load’s up to 20,000 kg.

Mobile Brake Tester

LCV In-ground brake tester:

This brake tester is built to withstand a high daily throughput of fully laden light commercial vehicles with axle load’s up to 5,000 kg.

This is ideal for the growing number of van centres to service the rapidly increasing 3.5T – 7T vehicle weight class market (such as Iveco Daily, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Volkswagen Crafter, and Ford Transit, as well as camper vans and minibuses).

Brake tester has a unique design as it allows for split bed installation over an inspection pit
Designed to maximize the protection of the wheels and chassis of the vehicle being tested
a large range of options that allows for a customised configuration
Rollers are raised over floor level which ensures that vehicles are tested with all 4 wheels in floor level
Raised rollers reduce the risk of damaging skirts and spoilers while entering and exiting the roller bed

Tachograph Upgrade Kits

As the only UK supplier of a one stop solution for brake testing and tachograph calibration, Continental Automotive can offer BM Brake Tester’s already equipped with Tachograph capability or can retrofit the Tachograph equipment to exiting units.

These brake testers are installed and maintained by Continental Automotive engineers, who can carry out all the relevant servicing and equipment calibration requirements, reducing the need for multiple service contracts and days of downtime.

Continental Automotive’s expertise in Tachograph’s also enables them to offer the Tachograph upgrade’s to other brake tester branded machines such as VLT and Maha.
